Tip: in Discord, Slack and Markdown, wrap the art in triple backticks so it keeps its monospaced shape.

About the ASCII Art Generator

ASCII art turns ordinary letters into oversized banners drawn with the characters on your keyboard. Because the result is pure text, it survives everywhere rich formatting dies: source-code comments, terminal MOTD screens, commit messages, README files, Discord and forum posts.

Type a word and watch it render live in three styles - the classic figlet Standard look, solid block letters built from Unicode full-block characters, and Big Banner, which draws each letter using itself as ink. Everything happens in your browser, so there is no upload and no wait.

How to use it

  1. 1Type a word or short phrase (one line, up to 48 characters).
  2. 2Pick a font style: Standard, Blocks or Big Banner.
  3. 3Copy the art or download it as a .txt file, then paste it into your comment, README or chat.
